HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF TSC
1. The mission of the Tuscaloosa Sailing Club (TSC) is to further the enjoyment and knowledge of sailing. All individuals over 18 years are eligible for membership. We welcome sailors with vast experience - or no experience.
2. Please fill out the information on the reverse side.
3. TSC maintains two mailing lists: a general “all-TSC” list and a sub-list of members who receive the club newsletter, The Repeater, via regular mail rather than email. If you provide an email address, you will receive The Repeater by email as well as other TSC and sailing-related information from the Board of Directors, and, occasionally, from other members and you’ll also receive the Repeater via regular mail. By electing to receive The Repeater via email only, you can help save natural resources and save the club printing and postage expense. Please consider making this election on the front of the application.
6. TSC depends on volunteers - we have no paid staff members. Please check off the activities that you would like to help with this year.
7. YOU MUST SIGN THE MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT. This application cannot be processed without your signature.
8. Give your form to any member of the Board of Directors or mail it to: Tuscaloosa Sailing Club, P.O. Box 20061, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35402-0061.
9. If your application for Associate/Student Membership is approved, you will be sent a written invitation to join TSC. With that invitation will be Permissive Use Agreement which must be signed and returned to TSC along with the initial dues and initiation fee if you accept TSC’s invitation of membership.
